Self guided bicycle tours in Key West

Post by chitownpirate »

Hey all! Was wondering if anyone knew of a source for addresses, etc... so I can see JB stops like his old apartment, etc... I'm familiar with the main ones near Duval but wanted to venture out more. Any help would be awesome!

His old apartment is no longer there. The original building was completely remodeled. In fact, most the road has been re-zoned so technically the road isn't even the same. But its on Waddell by Louies. Ish.

Oh the place is still there. But it is a motel now. Or it was when I lived there in 90's.

This thread tells you how to get to Shrimpboat Sound, and shows good pictures of it.

It's a white ice shack looking place by Schooner Wharf, where Sebago Cruises leave out of (I believe, from memory)

I've seen his old apartment building by Louie's, but not sure of the address. Where else do you have in mind?

No wonder why I looked like this in front of Shrimpboat Sound!

By the way, I didn't quite get the concept of the "new" spray-on sunblock, as you can see by the brilliant spot on my arm!

Oh my, great memories! I wanna go back, to the islands, where the shrimpboats tie up to the pylons...

Well that was good...found Shrimpboat Sound during the day and kissed the special lady friend for the first time on the steps there later that night, after many hours of drinking carrot juice. So nice to only have to drive an hour and a half home after partying in KW:)
Giggiddy.

Still in wonderment over these "self-guided bikes."

Have the same picture with my daughters. We stumbled upon the studio after lunch looking for a Key Lime pie shop we'd heard was good (it was).
