Or at least move it to the joke section, so those who don't think I'm funny will at least understand I was trying to be....
I LOL'd. I think sometimes people forget that 99% of the people here are here because they are Buffett fans. Even the constructive criticism posts are written by people that care. This isn't an us and them forum it is an us and us forum. We are here because we have an appreciation of Buffett in common.

Oh yeah, I voted the satanic option just to annoy the people that take this thread too seriously. :)
Not meaning to be a killjoy, I just consider the whole heaven/hell thing a pretty serious topic. Jimmy's not a messenger from God, and he's prolly not a minion of Satan. Sorry, I just don't see the humor when you're talking eternal destinations... :-?

Funny, I got home from church last night and posted on this topic.

If we were seriously debating this I could see some uneasyness, but it's a Popcorn Jack thread     .

How do you know when someones a messenger from God? Do they have a tattoo on their forehead that reads messenger from God? Same for a minion of Satan? You do realize that there are some people around that think this life on earth is the actual hell? There's also some that don't believe in God.

This thread is called humor - if you don't get it or don't like it, it's like the TV - don't post in the thread, pass it up.

He's from Alabama. I doubt that either the gates to heaven or the
portal to hell runs through there. No disrespect to Alabame intended.

Actually if you pop your corn in oil try putting in a couple of splashes of Tobasco Sauce.

there's no way it could unless he was spit out into the Gulf just south of New Orleans and washed up on shore.

Is there heaven here on earth or is this really hell?

I would've voted, but there's no "Boobies" option.

I guess I'll take some popcorn.

Ummmmm...Tabasco popcorn. I remember a while back when this was available in my area for a short period of time in a 5 ounce bag. Wow I wish I could find more.

Like Bluto Blutarski's "Germans bombed Pearl Harbor", we just considered it a bit of literary "license".
And it's not as if that was the only piece of the whole story that was implausible.

depending on prevailing winds and currents, as well as flow levels at that time.. it's possible he drifted from the mouth of the river eastward, making landfall in Pascagoula a couple days later.

geez.
