Like Bluto Blutarski's "Germans bombed Pearl Harbor", we just considered it a bit of literary "license".
And it's not as if that was the only piece of the whole story that was implausible.
I could have sworn I heard someone say "hush he's on a roll" when Jack started the thread
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

Yes, and everyone of us are his minions........

Do you think that maybe when we're staring at the computer screen, they are actually flashing subliminal suggestion?........"buy more Jimmy crap".

Ahhhh, but it said from the muddy banks. Slidell is about as close as that would ever be.

Alabama?

Is it where you were born that you are from or where you grew up? Or both?

We'll call it "poetic license"--that and I was finishing up a 14 hour day at work.

To answer your last question, personally I grew up where I was born, but friends of mine who moved at an early age (before 5) call where they grew up as where they're from: "I was born in xxxx but I grew up in xxxxxx."
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

Aw schnookums, there's no sin in not having grown up. I've never done it and have no intention of doing so.

yes sir, I can reserve you a handbasket.
How many are in your party?
Do you want nonstop service, or are you willing to do a layover?

Perhaps short stays in the 2nd and 3rd circles and then express service to our final destination .... the 6th circle.
