I'm back at work today. Still have a slight headache. If I were at home I'd be ready for a nap.

Good almost afternoon. It's supposed to be in the 70s every day through the weekend but for the 4th weekend in a row there's rain in the forecast.

I have to make a quick supermarket run, I need milk for tomorrow's corn flakes and the bakery department has muffins on sale this week. I might also get an apple pie for Pi Day, but they're not $3.14 anymore.

Morning/afternoon!

Preparing for Snowmageddon here. Expecting 16+" where E and I live, starting tonight, all day tomorrow, and ending Friday afternoon. :-? I'm predicting having to use PTO - which I hate using except for vacations!

You have to go to the supermarket and get milk, bread and eggs like everybody else does. I never knew French toast was so popular.

How accurate are your forecasts out there? I seem to recall they were fairly close to being correct years ago when I was a CO resident.
Whereas here the odds are for anything BUT the projected totals!
I am hoping for you that they are waaay overstated ... trying to draw some spring skiers your way, perhaps?

Whoa! That's a killer load. We have had only a few storms hitting a foot in the last ten years.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Actually they are pretty good, most of the time. And for skiers? Nah - the slopes have been really busy this year. :)

I have never done this before, but today we stopped for lunch at a place we haven't been in for 30 years, sat down near one couple, looked at the menu and walked back out. This place is a non-descript roadhouse bar that had a burger for 16,50!

When I was in Las Vegas over Christmas I went to Guy Fieri's new place, it's called Flavortown and it's in the Horseshoe (formerly Bally's). It's supposed to be a sports bar so I thought I'd have a burger and a beer and watch some football. I sat at the bar, ordered a beer and looked at the menu. A burger was $27. I drank my beer and went somewhere else for lunch.

Wow! I wonder how much of that 27 was profit?
