Goodbye November THURSDAY@ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. It's gym day. I jokingly brag I'm the oldest strong guy in the weight room. Well, mostly the oldest.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Bill.........those to come.
Doesn't matter if you're the oldest, or the strongest, or you're the weakest in the weight room. You're IN the weight room & that's all that matters!!

Enjoy your 30th day of November everyone!

Good morning Bill, Ken, and Deb! :)

I got told yesterday that I'll be training someone to do some of my job today. I like this person, but doubt she has the "office skills" to do what I do. We shall see.

Pre-Op Dr. appointment this afternoon. Fun Fun.

Time to get some breakfast. :)

Crazy day off today. Got the best possible outcome for the middle daughter in the latest situation she has gotten herself into. She's still really not communicating with me. But she's got a confidante in her Aunt, and we trust that.
I got my nails done, went to Big Lots and finished up my shopping. All I still need is stocking stuffers for the adult kids and a birthday card for the youngest daughter. Born 12/29.
I am taking a pair of dress pants to the seamstress later today. I need them for our family party. We're thinking about dinner out at the local Mexican restaurant.

The Rolling Stones are coming to Seattle next May.... Mick is 80, Keith will be 80 next month, and Ronnie is 76.
How appropriate (and funny) that they're sponsored by AARP!

Ha! Hey, Anne belongs to AARP. That means she is helping the sponsorship.

Sigh....I painted the Stones logo once, but the placement is innapropriate for this thread, so no photo in public domain EVER.

I've belonged for more than 20 years. I'm not sure what I get out of it, other than waaay too many mailers...

Aloha, peeps. 8)

Hate the gym. Tried it a few times over the decades but happier to just walk around town, with or without the dog.

Happy Friday Eve, and end of hurricane season, too. :wench:

Decided to not make the third trip to town for Mexican food. We scrounged something up here at home.
Seamstress story: I bought a new pair of dress pants and holiday top online for our family party. The pants were a little long and very flared. Like 70's Bell bottoms flared. I called/texted a few seamstresses to get an idea of cost. Mind you I spent probably 27.00 on the pants. The first lady texted me back and said to hem the pants 30.00 and 10.00 per leg to taper them. 50.00 for a 27.00 pair of pants that I am not in love with? No thanks.

Yikes! I’m just getting here now.

Hello to all.

Heading to Dr tomorrow for my Tdap vaccine. It’s a combo tetanus and whooping cough since we’ll be around another infant in 2 months. If an adult with whooping cough passes it to an infant it can be fatal.

Then to mom’s house. I will be with her as she calls each credit card to company to cancel the cards/accounts. Then we’ll try to have the credit card cancelled that has 5 “warranty” companies making automatic charges to the possible tune of $800 a month.

Tomorrow night will be a multiple adult beverage kind of night.
