What about the Parakeet Album. Does that count as one?
~~^~~
I'm not sure why the Parakeet Album is not on my list. I have found that there are a few tribute albums out there, but I figured I'd narrow it down to Buffett songs by Buffett. Well, until I get all these then we'll see.

Add in another album..."Live from the Today Show." I picked this one up becasue it had a live version of Fins from Jimmy Buffett and a live version of "Englishman in New York" from Sting on it. Ironically, when the album came out, I found it at a CVS store. I'm guessing they were selling it at the NBC store as well.

It's funny to see a list this long and find that SYKBH is not on it! I've always thought of that album as the primer; from there, you begin to build the collection.

It's on there, twice actually. It's funny though, I didn't buy SKYBH until very late while gathering my collection.

While I haven't listened to it in years, SYKBH was my first. Must have went through about 6 different cassettes, and eventually 2 cds of it.

Last Mango in Paris was my first REAL album, but it was the introduction to SYKBY back in '85 that got me hooked.

Jeez...my bad. Sorry, I'm delirious from watching the Mavericks / Heat series.

Mine was stolen, but I have no regrets as I have long since replaced the music. I figure that petty theft might have enlightened the thief to the error of his ways...now, he should pay the mini-mart (so to speak) back.

If you include CDs that were included with magazines, you can count the "License to Chill" CD (with song and video) that came with the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated, and "Barstool Boogie" by Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks (w/JB) was included in the music magazine Paste less than a year ago.

There's also the "Chameleon Caravan Tour Sampler" (1993), a promo CD sent to radio stations that includes songs from "Before the Beach" and "Late Night Gumbo." I only know about that one because I found it at a used record store for $3.

I'm not sure what your criteria is for including something on the list. If it's just "Look at these CDs that have Jimmy Buffett on them," then yeah, you could include the ones above.

You are also missing: Live in Bora Bora. From the 1987 world tour.
"You can't get no gyros smoking in a bar in Cairo..."
Jimmy Buffett "Cairo" from Calaloo.

Dave Lappio the steel pan player in Jim Morris's Big Bamboo Band has a cd called Pan Fried Buffett. A great collection if you are into pan music.
