Hanging in there. Doing a CT scan Tuesday in one spot with pain. Still doing two maintenance chemo meds. Therapy, progress.

Well, coming to the end of options. Last scan shows stem cell and current chemo not working. Current chemo sometimes takes up to a couple of months to work but optimism is low.
There is another chemo approved by the failing FDA this past July that has a 30 to 40 percent success rate during trial period. I start that on Monday on top of my other chemotherapy. I have to be inpatient two Mondays in a row for observation of treatment. Just for over night.
Radiation is being looked at for the most severe growth which can eventually cut off the nerves for breathing.
Some other spots appeared too. I will get a full body pet scan to see if latest treatment works. Not much else left.
