I saw this too and was wondering just what it was about. Went to the record company (Liquid 8 Records) website but they had nothing on it and then went to the Tower Records site and all they had was the song listings. Have no idea who is singing these songs but here are the ones they list.
1. Margaritaville
2. Cheeseburger In Paradise
3. Come Monday
4. Fins
5. Son Of A Son Of A Sailor
6. Changes In Latitude, Changes In Attitude
7. Pirate Looks At Forty, A
8. Grapefruit Juicy Fruit
9. Take Another Road
10. Why Don't We Get Drunk

How 'bout at a BuffettNews phlocking, we record ourselves singing our fave Buffett songs. That could the "BuffettNews Tribute to Jimmy Buffett!" At least it would be a SINCERE tribute! 8)

We better not try and make that a charitable endeavour....I don't think we could sell enough to cover production costs!

I saw this in the bins at Tower Records today. The songs listed above, all sung by the Buffettiers (no joke). I think it was $12.99.

Even I could resist the tempation to buy that one! :D

Reminds me of the late night comercials selling albums with all the top songs performed by the original artist. Turned out a scam as the songs were done by a group going by the name "The Original Artist"
