Food Shopping, Book Bingo & Yoga on my schedule for today. Since Bingo doesn't start until 2:30 I have a few hours to food shop....got my "updated Thyroid" blood work back. Now my #s have switched places which means I am back to HYPOthyroidism. Good thing I have the Endo Dr appt on the 6th. I am soooooo over this. Next up will be back to getting the ulnar nerve addressed since it's just as bad as ever .
Our kids up north are looking at a possible -19 below tonight. In all our years of living in Lancaster (63) I don't think we've ever had that type of temperature. WHAT THE HECK MOTHER NATURE!!
We have a winter storm watch for the weekend, one forecast I saw said we could get 3-6 inches of snow. Six inches would pass last year's storm as the 5th largest snowfall in Myrtle Beach history. I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought milk and bread but I didn't get eggs. If we get snowed in I won't be able to make French toast.

That's what I always think of when people say they have to get milk/bread/eggs.
That's what I always think of when I hear about people getting snowed in... "Oh no, will they be able to make French Toast?"
Isn't that why the news reports always show people emptying the stores prior to a big storm?
You know that little voice in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't?
I should probably get one of those....

I went to Kohl's this afternoon. When I got to the cashier she asked me how my day was going and I told her I was a little disappointed, I didn't see Kohl's Mom. She had no clue what I was talking about.

The good news today: A refund is coming for the tickets we bought for ZBB at the Sphere in Vegas.
The not so good news today: Fort Logan is questioning the DD214 with regards to Ron's service years. When we were there in OK for his service they mentioned him being in the reserves, which I didn't know. And because he enlisted as "Ronnie", that's what's going to be engraved on the columbarium, unless I provide a change of name. Uh, how about his birth certificate? Ft. Logan will provide an answer within 5 business days.
I just saw the weather report on the 5:00 news. They had 4 different forecast models for the storm this weekend. One said 2 1/2 inches of snow, one said 8.4 inches and the other 2 were somewhere in between. If we get 8.4 inches of snow the city will be shut down for a week.
