Good morning all!

I took yesterday off from purging, so I'll do a little bit more today. Weather is going to be nice again, so I won't freeze taking stuff up to the dumpster.

That's about it for today.

Hope you have a good Tuesday! :)

Good morning Penny.

It was 19 degrees when I woke up this morning. I thought I left that kind of weather behind when I moved south. [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

Nothing going on at Carolina Cabana today. I bowed out of Tai Chi -- I really liked it but I just can't get moving in the mornings right now :(.

Our son & his fiancé (who got engaged on the beach this summer while visiting us) have decided on March 2027 for their wedding. When they were here they were talking about Nov of this year. But...while looking at venue prices it seems March is an "off" month and much cheaper so they are leaning that way (at least for now).

I started the day out intending to work on our taxes, but spent more time at the shredder than I did at the computer. It seems like I accumulated a lot more "stuff" over the past year than I really need. I have everything needed to complete my taxes except for forms from the Social Security Administration. I hope the three people in DC that still work for SSA will get the forms out soon...... :-?

Back in the day, I had a couple of Jimmy Buffett albums (I think mebbee CILCIA, Coconut Telegraph, and the Yellow Album) and I liked his music, but that was about it. Then, one night on our local PBS station, they played "Live by the Bay" and that's when I became a Parrot Head....

I need to purge more again. I moved in 2024 and got rid of a lot, but need to get rid of more before another big move hopefully coming soon. It's such a hard thing to do, but it's necessary sometimes.

Morning /afternoon all!

20 years ago, I stopped lurking and created my account. The rest is history.

Thank you to my BN family for the fun, memories and support through the good days, bad days, and going half mad days.

You know you're getting acclimated when you walk outside and it's 20 degrees and you say to yourself,

Hi there! We drove to Erie for a 10:10 appointment and arrived way early due to the threat of really bad roads. I waited over 2 hours, but it was worth it! My vision was stable after having fluid from a steroid shot last summer. I asked my new doctor about MD because it was mentioned by 2 other doctors last summer. He said I didn't have MD. Woo Hoo!
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi everyone!!!!

I am waiting for a ct scan which is running over an hour behind 😢. Frustrated as it is after my work day, so the pup will be crossing all f her legs by the time I get home. Usually they are an in and out operation here, so that makes the wait even more frustrating.

Still cold and snowy here. The sun was out, so that made it much more tolerable. Winter is always easier when the sun is shining.

Enjoy your evening. Hoping I get out of here before it is totally dark…..

I had a couple of errands to run today, it wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. I even stopped for a leisurely stroll in the park before I came home. Now I think I'll have a cold beverage. 🍻
