Seems like a bunch of us are taking roads to hospitals as well.

brrrrr -- a little chilly here in Myrtle Beach but 1/2 as chilly as our kids have "up north" in Pennsylvania.

Off for yet another procedure this afternoon - this time a cystoscopy. Checking bladder since Kidneys seem to now be clear of all the stones. But - I won't ever be allowed to stop taking the kidney med since it apparently helps keep my body from forming stones (that I don't even know about).
Still waiting on info on the IV infusions for my osteoporosis....what a freekin' nightmare. You'd think I was falling apart . Kevin sez "that's what you get for trying to take care of yourself"

Good morning Linda and Bill!

I merged both of your posts this morning, since they were posted exactly at 7:18 am (my time).

Waiting for the call from the liver surgeon's doctor this morning. We waited all day for the liver physician to contact us, which they did by leaving a phone message after they were already closed. Advised the Oncologist of the same information, and he was not pleased as his staff faxed the info at 10:30 today, instead of yesterday. Hopefully we'll see the liver surgeon today to have a drain put in, so some of the bad stuff can get out of his system, so he's not so itchy and yellow eyes and skin. He's very weak this morning.

Jeesh! It looks like the MSC might need an Emergency Room entrance and an on staff doctor....
Positive thoughts for you fellow BNers with ills, woes, and loss..... it's an especially bad time of the year to have stuff going on.



It's still raining here... I don't have to shovel it, but might have to start bailing.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm just tidying up my living room. Closing in on Christmas...

Afternoon all - yeah, I need a doctor WITH Corona, STAT!!

We got an appointment for 9:00 am tomorrow with the liver doctor. Finally. He slept for a few hours, and then I made him 1/2 of a ham/cheese sandwich.

It's 62 degrees outside.

Jerry - come clean my living room too, okay?

We’re in the Carolina room having an adult beverage. We’ve got the heater going since the sun is now at the front of the house.

I went out for lunch and I did something I rarely do, I had dessert. The place had a few special "holiday" items on the menu and one of them was a Red Flag Chocolate Trifle (not truffle). German chocolate cake, cherry compote, chocolate mousse (or "moose", as the menu says), whipped cream and a cherry on top. It was delicious. I think I'll skip dinner, I'm stuffed.

Any chocolate is too much chocolate for me . For future reference I like diamonds and my birthday month stone is Saphire.
