Hi Elaine and PIP, as an expatriated Rhode Islander, this made me think of a couple spots I miss a lot. I loved a restaurant called Ma Glockners in your neck of the woods, when I was younger and now, each time we return to visit, we always hit the Beef Barn as well as Wrights Farm restaurant. Two great places.Caribbean Soul wrote: December 8, 2025 4:34 pmHello neighbor!! MA Glockners was great! Unfortunately it closed years ago.
Thanks for the Beef Barn reminder, though... I haven't been there in a while!

It's very affordable, which is pretty nice. $35 or so for two fried chicken sandwiches, a fish sandwich, 2 whole dill pickles, 3 sodas, and three orders of fries
