Morning gang! Quite an emotional 24 hours....to add onto my already emotional week. Found my dusty old PFFs in the corner...so that's where I left them! Sorry about that!

In other news....

We are finally getting our first heatwave of the summer.

82°F today then 96 to 100°F for the following 5 days.

So today will be consumed with rechecking fire prevention things (generator, pumps, hoses and a tidy up of any build up of combustibles) and prepping the garden for the onslaught.

We haven't really had a summer yet, so weirdly, I am kinda looking forward to it.

Kinda like MsMolly last week, I had to put shoes on today and venture downtown for a doctor appointment. While there I found out that we're in the Phase 1B group for vaccinations and should be getting ours in about 2 weeks.

One of the people that had their sentence commuted was a drag racer. He was involved with Lend America. He never served a day in prison. His son is now racing. Guess we will see Mike more at the races.
