Tailgate TUESDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. A lot of us have fond memories of Tuesday shows. I look forward to the anticipation again.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Tailgate TUESDAY@ the MSC
Good Morning everyone!
Got a call last night from the Judge -- our new law clerk (started 9/1/20) was at urgent care last evening for a fever and cough. We are now waiting for her COVID test results. She was at work yesterday with some pink eye and a painful ear (she was already on antibiotic drops from Saturday so we thought we'd all be OK). I'm heading to the Courthouse so the judge can hand me my laptop through my car window as I'll be WFH today and maybe tomorrow. I guess this is one reason why we're to take our laptops home every day. Since the 1 time a few weeks ago I went to work without mine and realized I couldn't even power on my desktop I've been leaving my laptop at work......

Good morning!
E is leaving today for a few days in Nebraska for work.
Great weather the next few days, then snow predicted for Sunday. Normally I'd be , but we REALLY need some moisture to put out all of the fires.
Hope everyone has a good Tuesday, whatever you're doing.

Up and at em early today. Bryan couldn't sleep so he went to work at 6:30 this morning, and then naturally I couldn't go back to sleep either. So I've been up getting some chores done and now I'm having a cup of coffee, then I'll get ready and head to the doctor's office for blood work for my virtual visit next week. After I get stuck, I'm stopping at Half Price Books to look for books for the grandkids for Christmas.
Have a good day everyone!

Here's hoping for a negative result for your clerk.......for her sake & that of you & your co-workers.

Good afternoon.
Yesterday was a sad day for hockey fans, Mike Emrick announced he was retiring from broadcasting. He was the best hockey play by play announcer I ever heard. If he had been doing baseball, football or basketball instead of hockey the last 50 years he would be a legend.

Afternoon BNers
Another pretty day along the coast.
Blue skies and sunshine.
The water company is working on the water. IF we use water, we will be getting sewer water.
Oh goody. Glad we have bottled water in the fridge.

Re: Tailgate TUESDAY@ the MSC
So it's the middle of October and it's 75 degrees here! I wish I was at a friends pool instead of at the kitchen bar "working".
I've actually been fairly productive today - both at my real job and with some house jobs. I will be heading to the gym soon so that's done before Kevin gets home from his 1 of 2.5 days of work (still the same schedule since May).

I guess this is one test your colleague is hoping to fail, i.e. gets a negative result.Saltx3 wrote: ↑October 20, 2020 7:40 am Good Morning everyone!

Good luck.
I am not sure of the test protocols where you are, but if it was me I would be trundling off to the testing centre to get tested in any case.

The hits just keep on coming....
Usually after the qualifying Sat evening at the Houston drag race, friends get together for a cookout. Crew chiefs from different teams show up to eat steak, etc. One of the guys that has joined us a few years is Eric Lane.
Eric was killed crossing the street last night.
Eric was one of the good guys. He could tell stories that would have to laughing so hard. There was always a smile. Met his wife last year.....
Sail in Eric. ❤

Re: Tailgate TUESDAY@ the MSC
So sorry Molly! That just sucks.
I got home from the book store with 15 books to be divided between the grandkids... only spent 39.00. I made tacos for Taco Tuesday dinner and then I got my Christmas Card list done... I know it's really early, but I always like to get them done by Halloween because after Halloween the holiday cleaning and cooking and baking just get overwhelming....

Re: Tailgate TUESDAY@ the MSC
Thanks everyone.
It was just such a shock. He is married and has a 6 year old daughter.
Like I said, such a nice guy and always smiling. He will be missed at the cookout.
On to other news...the water guys left. Is the water safe to use? Dunno. Called the mud district to ask. No one knew what I was talking about.
"I'm sure the water is safe". Really?? How??
Good grief.

Oh no.
A HPD Sgt was killed today. Didn't know him but he has going to retire in 2 weeks.
Think I will just go back to bed.
