We learned that the placement of the crate makes a difference.... when we had our first newfie pup, he cried all night long in the crate until we put the crate in our bedroom....as long as he was in the same room as us, he was much quieter and I think felt more secure. Good luck!tailgaitingph wrote: ↑September 30, 2020 8:21 pm It's been a busy 24hrs for me. Hubby decided about 6 months ago that he wanted a (puppy) beagle. We already have Lucy who is a 4 year old mixed breed shelter rescue & Roscoe who is about 100 year old beagle 'rescued' from a friend who wasn't taking care of him. Well, last night we got Mickey. An 8 week old beagle . Don't get me wrong, he's adorable! He's got 3 black spots on his right side that look like Mickey mouse's head (hence the name) & he's very sweet but it's been a looong time since there's been a puppy around here. We crated him last night (& plan to continue to do so) but he cried most of the night. So there was very little sleep for us & I had ot today. Hoping for a better night tonight...
The other 2 seem to be ok & are even slowly warming up to him.

Wow, it is so crowded they are jockeying for attention? Things have not returned to that level of normalcy around here, at least not yet. Most places we frequent are keeping the outside bars/decks open with heat lamps and things and still there is plenty of room for service, social distancing, etc.MICHIPHIN wrote: ↑September 30, 2020 8:33 pm So what is with these dudes who have to hold there money in there hand, and show it off? My High School Jr. Grandson Chase ran his personal best yesterday on the Cross Country Course in his 4th meet of the year. Time was 2+ minutes better than he ran as a freshman on the same course. Proud of the young man. He has such a great attitude about his sport. Last season his team made state finals. They take 5 runners to state meet + & alternate. The #6 runner was a Senior & 3 seconds behind Chase in qualifying time. Coach took the Senior as #5 runner & took Chase as alternate. Kid didn't complain one bit about it. Was just happy his team had success & that he was a part of it.
Gotta say, I never was a runner...did the contact sports, but I do like the message on his shirt!

Re: Standing By to Standby WED @ the MSC
my "Gay Midget P O R N" comment offended some lady near the bar....i apologized and told her that i used to be gay, and used to be a midget but grew out of both.....this was followed by a lecture of homosexuality, which i wasn't really interested in listening to. She rambled on for a few minutes before i finally said, "Hey look, you are at Hooters and at the bar....lighten up"..........i received an ovation from those seated at the bar.....she is still sitting there fuming.....

Flying by.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
