Hello WED @ the MSC
Good morning everyone!
I’m WFH (working from home) today since our grandson Eli stayed overnight and has virtual school from 9-3 while his parents travel the north east coast for their belated wedding anniversary.
What’s everyone got going on today ?

Good morning Linda, Michi, and Steve!
Going on here? Work Work Work. Grateful. BUT - the timeclock is still not working despite several resetting attempts. So I'm entering everyone's time manually. By the end of today, I'll be up close to 500 manual entries. Fun Fun.
But before I head to the car, I'm gonna wish E a Happy Engagaversary!! 14 years ago today in Susan's (ToplessRideFL) pool.
Have a good Wednesday!

Been WFH since 2000. I don't think I could work in an office again, or deal with any commute. Although I guess I would if I had to. Fortunate to be employed, so many RIFs have already happened with my employer all across the country. "RIFs" = reduction in force". I guess they think that sounds better than "layoffs".
Happy Engageaversary, Penny & E! E looks so happy to be putting that ring on and I can tell that you were bawling, Penny (in a good way).

Good morning. I don't have any plans and it's only 54 degrees so I think I'll do laundry and drink coffee.
I was a witness to the engagement in Susan's pool.

I remember that!!! Cuervo spilled his drink in Sunny Jim's steel drum......
We ended up at some bar with Al (I think it was - could have been Tommy Bahama), and there was no bartender. JA went behind the bar and serviced us all

What a beautiful day, 70 degrees and low humidity. The only bad thing was trying to avoid all the goose $h!t when I went for my walk in the park.

O M G
Next time, remind me not to try virtual appointments. His cell was pixilating and I couldn't understand him. He finally called me...3 times. His phone kept turning off.
Getting in the car would have been easier.

Re: Hello WED @ the MSC
I tried the virtual appt a few months ago, ended up talking on the phone. But it works well for Mrs CNF weekly.
Still no access to the boat but got an email from the marina saying 4 boats sank and those owners have been notified so I assume CILCIA is still afloat.

That sounds like a great start for your boat.Crazy Navy Flyer wrote: ↑September 23, 2020 6:13 pm I tried the virtual appt a few months ago, ended up talking on the phone. But it works well for Mrs CNF weekly.

Something was wrong with his phone/link/whatever. Could it be the rain?? Anyway, the video didn't work..he tried twice and neither did his phone when he called...3 times.
Oh well...hoping I will get my drugs.

Happy engageversary, Penny!
I teared up a moment ago. Bad news from my phriend in Ohio was on my mind as I read this thread and saw Penny crying while a song on RM took me back to a wonderful time with a first grader in art class. The highs and lows got me a little.
To tag onto Larry's post, I went to a nice cottage on the lake I fish often. My buddy was staying there for a week. There was nowhere to step without hitting duck poo.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi All,
Well I did some more amateur gunsmithing last night. It seems the spring may not be the culprit.
Which is great as the fix may simply involve shimming some parts. Much easier and cheaper (Think of a shim as a very thin flat washer).
