Good morning BN and Michi, good luck with the weather.

My wife's car has a dead battery. We've had it less than 4 months. If I can jump start it, we have a 25 mile drive to the dealer. I will follow her if the car must be left . Yippee.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

my wife's car battery died a few months ago. I replaced the battery, and it went dead again a few days later. When replacing the battery, i didn't happen to notice that the belt driving the alternator had broken.

good morning.

heading into work soon. there was a police-related fatal shooting yesterday at 4:45 p.m. in downtown Lancaster. The victim's sister called the police to report her brother was becoming more agitated towards her and their mother.

The body cam shows a man coming out of the front door, down 3 steps and onto the sidewalk walking directly at the officer with a large knife above his head.

The protesters have been present at the police station since 4:46 p.m. and continued through the night. So far, they have smashed windows in 2 police vehicles, a window at the station and the doors of the post office across the street. Kevin works in the building next to the post office. Both of us must walk part of that block to get to our respective government buildings. It will not be pretty (again). :(

Good? Monday morning!

Good luck with the bad weather down there, Michi. :-?

Good luck with the battery/car stuff, Bill. :-?

Good luck with the stupidity, Linda and Kevin! :-?

This no drinking for Cameron is messing with my sleep. I think I got maybe 4 hours. Today is Payroll Monday, and GHO (General Hospital Orientation) and I have 4 new CNA's starting. Maybe I'll have time to breathe when it's time to leave for the day.

Make the best of it that you can, folks. :)

our local webcam already shows the storm surge coming in, with water nearing the walk overs. These walk overs are generally a good 200 feet from the water.....may be a good day to hit the beach bar for a burger and beer at lunch to watch the waves and the tourist who will want to get close to the water...

Good morning. I think the Stanley Cup playoffs might be ending soon for me. The Islanders and Golden Knights are both down 3 games to 1 and if neither team makes the finals there's no reason to watch. The Golden Knights could be gone as early as tonight. :(

Morning BN.

A lil breezy here and we've had a few quick showers but the waves are kicking! We've decided to head to hotel close to the airport & switch our flight out to Wed

My earworm on a continuous loop is Mustang Sally
