2020 NFL Season
Are you ready for some football?
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Us either. Not for a few years, and still not this year. Sadly, cause I loved my Broncos.

Re: 2020 NFL Season
And more of the same tomorrow v Bears, please. Khalil Mack is a beast, hoping the Bears leave hm on the injury list, and they figure they can beat the Giants without him. They probably can, but that's the only way the G-men have even a prayer. LOLtailgaitingph wrote: ↑September 13, 2020 7:23 pmlime rickie wrote: ↑September 13, 2020 12:15 pm I'm in. Go G-men!

Re: 2020 NFL Season
Seattle vs. New England on Sunday Night Football... The Pats got rid of their girly-handed QB, so I guess I don't dislike them like I did.
Oh wait, they still have the same slimy owner and the same cheatin' coach and now they have Cam Newton too? I guess I might even dislike them more than before.

Re: 2020 NFL Season
Hoping Tom has his first win today with our Bucs!!
Seems to me, there was a certain coach that could not get it done in New England and landed out in Seattle and still can not get it done!!
Must be the trauma attached to losing a Super Bowl to that team because he called the wrong play at the end of the game!! Bwahahahahaha.

Re: 2020 NFL Season
It was the right play... the mini-QB threw a bad pass, the receiver didn't go to the ball, and the defender made a good play and did go to the ball. The over-hyped running back woulda been stuffed at the line.
Pete's done OK... in 10 seasons with the Seahawks, Seattle has four NFC West division titles, has been in the playoffs eight times, and has been to the Super Bowl twice. Pete hasn't been accused of cheating once. IIRC, Belichik was fired by the Browns?
Seattle's biggest problem is it's diminutive QB. Mini-Russ can't stay in the pocket because he can't see over the O line and has to scramble to be able to see downfield.

Thank heavens for the NFC East. We're in a 3-way tie for 2nd.

Re: 2020 NFL Season
This is a tough one but if I’m following your thoughts correctly here SP, then what you really are saying is that you agree that the better team won that Super Bowl!!SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑September 20, 2020 11:47 am It was the right play... the mini-QB threw a bad pass, the receiver didn't go to the ball, and the defender made a good play and did go to the ball. I also can send you some very good mindfulness exercises that will aid in overcoming that anxiety you still have regarding that particular game. Bwahahahahaha

Re: 2020 NFL Season
Second half was a lot more fun than the first. Losing Saquan just makes me so sad for him at this point, he's been stuck behind this garbage O-line.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑September 20, 2020 4:47 pmAt least it was a close scoring game?? Re: 2020 NFL Season
I guess you can read into my thoughts however you want. All I said is that the play in mention wasn't necessarily the wrong play and if it had been executed correctly, it might have been the winning play (and Pete probably would have been proclaimed a genius.)RIPH wrote: ↑September 20, 2020 4:47 pmThis is a tough one but if I’m following your thoughts correctly here SP, then what you really are saying is that you agree that the better team won that Super Bowl!!SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑September 20, 2020 11:47 am It was the right play... the mini-QB threw a bad pass, the receiver didn't go to the ball, and the defender made a good play and did go to the ball. I have no (nada, nil, zip) anxiety regarding that particular game, the sun came up the next morning and life went on. It was just a game.

Re: 2020 NFL Season
The first step in overcoming anxiety is accepting that you have it! It’s a difficult thing for sure.
