Morning Linda, Deb & BN.
I'm thankful to be off today, my only day this week. Supposed to be sunny & hot but I have a lot of errands to run & of course laundry & picking up the house so the day will go by quickly without a trip to the pool
Happy 'you're here' Thur y'all!

Good morning.
About 5 or 6 years ago, the Pelicans came up with a new marketing slogan - Pelicans Baseball, Un-Flocking-Believable. Some people with far too much time on their hands complained so they changed it to the more acceptable, but very boring, Pelicans Baseball, Experience It. Now that the 2020 Minor League season has been cancelled, the Pelicans are selling a t-shirt that says:
2020
Un-Flocking-Believable
I might buy one.

“Money can’t buy happiness” Well yeah, I guess it actually does...
Money actually can buy happiness, study finds
“A new report finds that in recent decades, having more money has become increasingly associated with greater happiness.
The Expanding Class Divide in Happiness in the United States, 1972-2016, published in the past week in the journal Emotion, found that among people age 30 and older, the correlation between income and happiness has steadily risen over the years.”

I remember seeing the band UFO as an opening act back in the 70's featuring future Scorpions lead guitarist Michael Schenker as he was still in his teens (me too BTW), ironically I don't recall the Feature Band....

It was a little humid earlier but other than that it was a beautiful day - temperature in the low 80s, sunny, bright blue sky. Right now it's so dark it looks like the sun already went down and the thunder is rumbling. I wonder how much rain we're going to get? 🌧

Re: Glad to be here THURS @ the MSC
Hi there! y morning started rough. I pulled my small boat away from the back of the garage and a dangling cord from a shop light caught on a cleat. The cord snapped off the four foot light, breaking one of the two wire chains supporting it. The light swung wildy from one chain. I stood on a step ladder to remove it and that chain broke when I grabbed it. Lucky for me it didn't fall and shatter the glass tube. Then I hooked up the boat to find I had no lights, unhooked that boat, hooked up the other one and took off. There was adetour to my lake of choice, so I drove further to a lake I used to fish a lot. On this small lake folks were having a great summer day. The ramp was beside a public beach where the childre play in the surf all day.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
