Re: Last June WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Morning All,
For the last couple of months work has been insane. For example, over the last three weeks I had a task where I had to update and/or create 174 illustrations for one series of manuals. My brain almost exploded.
Come (last) Monday that task finished. Now I am in a "valley of inactivity". Working remotely and being not busy feels even more like I am bludging. I guess I'll just have to hassle some other teams for work.
It is driving me nuts - I think I prefer to be insanely busy.
(I bet my 20 year old self would have never said that!)

Re: Last June WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Our work got really slow for a while but in the last 2 weeks it has blown up. I relate it to animals hibernating. People have been hibernating/staying at home for a while but now are allowed to go out. But, they forgot what it was like in the 'real' world. They're just doing dumb stuff & not thinking. Like they're trying to shake off the sleepy-nes Maybe I'm giving them the benefit of dumbness but it's really happening!Rabbitz wrote: βJune 24, 2020 4:57 pm Morning All,

I think that the dumbness is a world-wide problem - look at what is being elected at all levels of government. The dumbness will bite us alltailgaitingph wrote: βJune 24, 2020 5:15 pm

Most county departments give a one hr lunch with 2 15 min breaks. One in the a.m. and one in the p.m.lime rickie wrote: βJune 24, 2020 6:21 pmHalf hour lunch each day taken out?Saltx3 wrote: βJune 24, 2020 11:03 amnot sure but most law firms in our county are also 37.5.
Since the courtrooms are closed from 12-1:30 and the judicial staff canβt just walk out of chambers at set times, our 30 min βbreaksβ are added to our lunch hour. Yep, that means I get a 90 min lunch.
