That was the norm in those days......at night, we would have to go into Chat because the forum just couldn't keep up......way too much funny stuff, and the reviews of what was happening in the parking lots at shows, with the surprise guests was always hilarious....LIPH wrote: ↑April 24, 2020 8:11 pmWhen I was still working I'd usually get to my office at 8:45ish and check BN while I was having my first cup of coffee, I didn't have to be at work until 9:30. Oh cool! That was 1 of the places on my list to check out that I haven't made it to yet. We only made it as far West as Pensacola (from OB).

I was just flipping through the channels to see if there was anything interesting on tonight. "Yesterday" is on the west coast HBO feed but it's almost over. I've seen it 3 times already, including my annual trip to the movies last year. I'll have to check the listings to see if it's on again in the next few days so I can watch it all the way through.

Well as today is ANZAC Day it also marks the day, in this household, where lighting the fire is now permitted. Happily, it looks like an 82°F day, so no fire with be lit.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑April 24, 2020 9:35 pm Btw, I lit another fire in the fireplace tonight...it's April 24th (or March 129th), wth?
Well, I may light the firepit in the back yard and do some outdoor wood or charcoal grilling for dinner. That is allowed year round.

Around here however, fires in the fireplace should be long gone

My favorite BN'er and husband posted THE sign that made me happy, and many don't know about.
Now we just need more of our BN family to stop by.
Thanks for the fun posts while we were at work. Lots of smiles.

I was watching the NFL draft after Yesterday ended. The Jests drafted a defensive back from the University of California in the 3rd round. One of the hosts on the NFL Network said the guy's hometown is Santa Cruz, CA "a town that's known for 2 things, surfing and smoking weed."

He's done a couple of live stream acoustic performances lately.
