I booked a hotel a few weeks ago at the Freeport Inn & Marina again like last year. We'll decide as the summer moves along if we'll make it back again this year.

We are looking for a party bus that will be going to the concert at Jones Beach. I have looked everywhere on many sites, but can't find any buses going to show. Anybody have any information?

Anyone know where the real 'parrotheads' are hanging this year?
We get inline at 3am every year and assemble in lot 5, but this year almost my entire crew has bailed for one reason or another. Trying to avoid the party till u puke 16 year old crowd.
Where's everyone gathering??? Anyone know if Jimmy and the Parrots (or any other band) is playing???

Hello Larry! We're going to miss you up here on Long Island, we all say hello, I don't have the Tiki bar set up this year hopefully next year. The lots were full before 6 am today, going to head down later, have a beer & stroll around the lots.

Not going to Jones Beach this year worked out pretty good for me. Tomorrow night is "Augtoberfest" at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans game, a craft beer tasting, and Ben Zobrist from the Chicago Cubs is here on a rehab assignment. I'll get to try some beers I haven't had before and see the MVP of the 2016 World Series play.

Tell the rest of the crew I said hi and I hope you have better weather than we're having. The forecast is for a high of 93 degrees with a heat index of 102.

This is my first Jones Beach show I'm missing this century. Sad not to be there but I will be watching from home.

moog, from 1993-2015 I only missed 1 Jones Beach show, Buffett did 2 shows in '93 and I only went to the first one. Now, I've missed 3 of the last 4.

I look at it as positive. No Belt Parkway and no hiking to lot 5. At least my beachball afterbirth stain is still there.
