Hope to be there for show #9 for my wife and I, and show #4 for our daughter!!!

Question: is there a reasonable tailgating option that doesn't involve driving your own car? I like the tailgate scene, I like to hang out for a few hours beforehand, I like to drink for several hours before and during the show.

But all of that doesn't lend itself real well to driving back to the hotel AFTER the show.

Is Uber/Lyft-ing to and from JLL a reasonable option? And if so, is there a place for car-less wanderers to tailgate pre-show? Curious. Thanks, and fins up!

Returning to dotcom just to participate in this makes me feel like a groundhog waking up from a long slumber only to see his shadow! I promised the girls a couple years ago that I would take them to a show. I suspect I'm gonna have to make good on that promise this year. It's during the school year, but at least it's not a school night.

Getting an Uber to the show is realistic if you get there early. Getting picked up there afterward is likely not. The roads around The Lube are just oo much of a mess. If you could get back to the shopping area, a mile or so away, you could pretty easily get picked up there.

I don't think they do Lyft in the DC area, but I could be wrong. I tried it once and was told it's not available in my area, but it could just be my part of Maryland.

Thanks! Maybe I'll look at limo or a party bus. At least we'd be comfortable while we sat in traffic.

Is there anywhere for car-less wanderers to plop down a few chairs and tailgate for a bit? Will JLL security chase people away who tailgate without a vehicle?

This is semi-drivable for me, about 430 miles, but I don't know if I want to make the trip.

The BN people meet up in the lots. You meet the minimum requirements since you have a pulse. Details about the when/where will be decided when it gets close. JLL has backed off on being really really strict. Still a few silly rules, but we can have a good time once again!

Is that pulse thing a hard and fast requirement or is it more of a guideline? Asking for a friend.
