Whattah weekend!

Chris(Tig) - phabulous job with the RR, the pool party was the perfect way for everyone to dive into the weekend. 8) And the ride in was perfect, our group was situated all together in a perfect corner location. [smilie=coolup.gif]

Dave (Moose), always a treat, you are *the* best chef in the lot and Barb is the hostess with the mostess. [smilie=yum.gif] Bill painted more bodies than Michaelangelo. Jimmy Groovy was a hoot. So great to be back with the GW crew. Welcomed some newbs and will be hoping some of our AWOL pholks make it back next year.

The show was fun, some song choices I didn't care for but overall Jimmy and the band were very up and very high energy. The crowd was on its feet, singing and dancing along all the way. Mac was mesmerizing on Little Martha. Free/Into the Mystic was sublime.

Not sure what to make of the whole exit 'meaning'. We did have the Reefers doing the one-by-one exit but Jimmy did say a few time throughout the show that he's not done yet. Maybe he's just trying something different? Maybe he's considering moving away from full blown big shows with the CRB to something smaller? Who knows, but I am staying tuned to see what he will deliver.

Beautiful weather, wonderful friends, awesome weekend.

Thanks y'all!

I will never criticize Tig's driving ability again!!!!!....well even a blind squirrel finds a nut..lol!!!... seriously though ,great job getting a prime spot though!!!

I sorta liked them all coming back out and taking the bow , maybe it's Jimmy's way to show appreciation to the GREAT CRB!!!...but thought it was pretty cool....the exit thing was different , each musician drifting into the night and Jimmy finishing solo!!

We had an awesome time! Probably one of the best parking lots and shows I've seen.

And now a parting gift...

Twas the day after Buffett,
And all through the land,
There was nursing of hangovers,
And brushing off sand.

Most stayed the night,
Tommy said "sorry, not me",
I've got to head home,
In the state of CT.

Others leave on Sunday,
On their long trips back home,
All with smiles on their faces,
Some an ache in their dome.

Good bye Red Roof,
So long to the pool,
Some head to the 'combah,
To sit on a stool.

With a hug and handshake,
We all part our ways,
We say see you all soon,
One of these days.

Safe travels Carolina Dreamin,
With their keet Mackenzi,
Mack brought along a virgin,
To witness the frenzy.

Smooth sailing to Kevin,
Linda, Mike, Pam and Mitch,
Bill, Colleen, Andrew and Heidi,
Safe home with no hitch.

Good travels to Rick,
Chris, DrunkPirate and Maria,
Had a wonderful time,
It was so good to see ya.

With coolers unpacked,
The old grill slightly rusted,
Barb & Chef Dave are all done,
And found nothing was busted.

As I sit on this eve,
And think of my friends,
I remember yesterday saying,
"I hope this day never ends".

What a wonderful time,
Everyone friendly, not mean,
There's only one thing to say,
See y'all in 2015!

Thank you all for sharing your company, stories, smiles and shots yesterday!

It was such a great time, I think I got in trouble with my professor this morning in class.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

After the way they did Lovely Cruise and how the CRB came back and took a bow you can't convince me there is 2015 tour.

Fine Jimmy's retiring! He's going to open up a theater in Branson where an animatronic version of jimmy plays six shows a day. The show ends with 1970's jimmy and 2014 jimmy singing together a duet of "I heard I was in town."

Just got back to Maryland from our Woodstock/Great Woods roadtrip. Not sure exactly how to take the final bow that occured last night but I'm not too worried about it. Both shows were probably some of the best I've seen in at least 10 years or more. It was interesting seeing such a new venue at Bethel Woods and then comparing it to Great Woods. The party is the best around but in my humble opinion the venue is in serious need of a updating.
It was too much tequila . . . . or not quite enough.

Just walked in the door and couldn't wait to thank you all. We had the most amazing weekend thanks mostly (Jimmy had a little to do with it) to your hospitality and making us feel welcome. I don't want to leave anyone out so I want to thank ALL of you for a most memorable day. It couldn't have been more perfect. And to hopefully some new found friends, we hope to do it again in the near future. Hope you all got home safely.

All I can say is.......I love you guys!!!

The concert was one of the best I've been to but that was just the icing on the cake of an amazing weekend.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Ditto what Linda just said! Can't de-fog my mind at the moment to thank everyone individually. Traffic on the Tappan Zee was horrendous and it will take me a few days to recover from the driving, and the imbibing, and the traipsing around after our esteemed sultan! That guy can really wear a harem girl out! BUT thanks to all of you crazy parrothead people for another weekend of wonderfully weird and happy hijinks! Love you all!
