We have one, the new models are inferior to the original models. They just aren't made of the same "quality." It's a cool novelty item I guess, it does what it says it will do.....then again so does a blender

Yeah, I figured it was pretty much just a fancy blender with a spout. Thanks for the reply.

We bought the Fuji and love it! I really didn't like the recipe listed to make Margarita's and have since tweaked it to make a lower calorie Margarita.

The Fuji shaves the ice perfectly. We have made mudslides too but try to stay away from those.

We love ours! A little pricey, but it does a good job.

Two friends of mine each had one and I had to get one myself. My wife wasn't happy about it, but since it is now SO EASY to spit out frozen morsels of heaven I couldn't take it back if I wanted.

And they make great frozen drinks. So many times frozen margarita's I get out at restaurants are chunky, but not from this. And I found the key is to let the ice sit 15 minutes before actually making the drink (this is in the instructions but I ignored it until I broke down and tried it once and it actually works, lol). And the great thing is it's so easy to use. I highly recommend one of these.
