Ditto. This will be my first concert since taking a self imposed one year hiatus. It will also take place just a few weeks after I take the (hopefully my last) CFA exam. No, I'm sorry to say G.O.M. # 2 won't be joining us in Chicago this year.
He and I will be going to Omaha & Des Moines this week, and I'm guessing he'll most likely go to Jones Beach, since that's just down the road from him, and possibly Mohegan Sun and Pittsburgh.

I'd love to come to K.C., but the weekend of the concert is my weekend to work. (I work every other weekend and have every other weekend off). I would have to use an additional 3 vacation days, and don't have that many left. There are a few other things I want to do this summer, but I really appreciate the sentiment. Taking the Amtrak from the Pittsburg show Friday (overnight) to chicago. This ought to land us at union station around 9am. We are staying at the Tinly Park La Quinta.
Any good suggestions on public transportation???

Union Station to LaSalle St. Station.
Take the Rock Island to the 80th Ave Tinley Park stop. Call cab ahead of time because they don't really exist in the southern burbs
