That scares the bejessus out of me!!
Conspiracy, ummm "Enthusiasts" point to this as another sign/symbol/clue
to the vast government space aliens coverup involving the massive
underground secret government bunkers/complex supposedly beneath DIA.
Google "Denver Airport Conspiracy" for some really far out theories.
My favorite is that Steven Spielberg's coordinates given in Close Encounters
did not point to Devil's Tower, Wyoming, but instead point to
the current location of DIA (and of course the massive secret government complex beneath it).
I love reading conspiracy theory websites. Those folks are passionate.

SAVE THE EARTH
It's the only Planet that has chocolate.
This "whatever it is" is at the entrance to the Cedar Rapids airport. I don't know it's significance, or even what the heck it is, but the taxpayers didn't seem to mind footing the bill.
Along the Interstate just south of Burlington VT - they used to be in a more southerly (VT) location. I used to know the significance but I can't recall anymore. I doubt we have whales in Lake Champlain

St. Paul started with the Snoopies a bit earlier than 2005. They did a series of figures to commerate being the home of Charles Schultz. There were Snoopys, Woodstocks, Lucys, Charlie Browns and I think Linuses.
