WOW WOW WOW... I can't believe we are saying it... "Who's going to Kansas City"

Eric and I will have to do some talking and see about a get-together at our house either Friday or Saturday morning.

Tickets go on sale Monday, 1/24

The KC Parrothead Club is working on preparty stuff right now, so we should know more soon.. Time for me to rejoin a club and see if I can help out Been wanting to get the kids more involved in community events also, so this will be good..

anyway, the Power and Light district has a very cool setup with several bars around a pavillion and a stage, etc... The only problem is it will not be free tailgating or BYOB stuff. More like Vegas in the street... This is the area they had the David Cook concert when he won American Idol. It is a neat area, just not sure how cheap it will be to preparty at all day long...

I didn't check the rates, but I think you can expect to pay $130+ at any of these hotels, that's about what I booked my room for at the Hilton. And just based on personal experience, I would avoid the Marriott. The Hilton is the closest, there is a sidewalk that basically goes straight from the hotel, through P&L, right up to the Sprint Center.

Also, that weekend there is a 3 day homestand for the KC Royals against the Twins. Kauffman Stadium is a great place to watch a game even though the Royals s***.

8 inches!!! seriously??? Make sure it is all melted by the time I get home tomorrow! It is supposed to start snowing in Wisconsin in the morning - hope my drive home isn't too snowy.. Can't wait to be home and see you baby!
