The Amazing Poker Run

Hey everyone! My local crew and I are putting together what promises to be a heck of a great time! The event is with the Parrothead Club of Eastern MA and is being opened to all clubs and friends (thats you!).

Get ready to have some phun! We’ve taken a new spin on the road rally and added a few things! Get your team together and go from one location to the next completing tasks in order to get your next clue! But don’t hurry, this isn’t a speed race, it’s a poker run! Gather cards at each location to get a winning hand. Extra cards will be available to purchase with the money going to charity. Teams can be 2-6 people, with one person being the designated driver. There will be a party after the race at the “Pit Stop” (also known as Tonga Tam’s house!) including live music by our very own Island Castaways! Cost is $10 per person. Prizes awarded to the winning team. Proceeds to benefit PHIN Fund (Parroheads in need. Helping those who helped others).

I'll have more info soon. You don't have to participate in the race to join the after party. Just bring a dish, BYOB and maybe a couple of bucks for the band. There will be room to put up some tents (anything bigger, PM me for room availabilty!).

wow am I behind on all of this! Alrighty gang, the Amazing Poker Run is next month! We've got a bunch of fun events set up starting at 11am at the Mountain Barn in Princeton! Compete with 2-6 people... decorations and costumes encouraged!! And of course, a wicked phun party after at my house! What more could you ask for?

Cost is $10 per person to participate in the run. If you just want to hang out at the party after, come on over. Bring something for the grill, something to drink and have some fun! No cost for that part!
