Zac Brown Releases Newest Video "Mystic"

I wondered what happened when CMT stopped playing JB and Zac, but this explains it. Zac's big release of Mystic this weekend features Joey and Rory singing with him. After JB and Zac this is a light weight version, the Magic was gone. I know it was just business, as this version was probably already completed, but still this was a rare to chance to catch actual magic. This would have won awards and plenty of them, just my opinion.

Actually they just changed the name to "Free"

The name of the song has always been "Free". When he plays live he often adds "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison. This is the arrangement that Jimmy and Zacplayed at the CMT Crossroads show. It does give you chills.

They posted the video on GAC, and I watched it, the name they listed was Mystic, I re-posted to say they changed the name to Free. The Buffett and Zac version is sooooo much better, but I might be too impartial in my judgement. You can watch by going to GAC.com and compare the two.

The version of "Free>Into the Mystic" from the Zac Brown Live From Bonnaroo cd is flat out awesome. The video version is from the Pass the Jar cd coming out next week.

I got the new "Pass the Jar" DVD this past weekend and it is great. Recorded at the Fox Theater in Atlanta to help raise money to rebuild the legendary Georgia Theater in Athens that burned last year. Highly recommended.

The song "Free" is off ZBB's album "The Foundation". In concert they would often mix "Into the Mystic" in middle. It has always been a crowd favorite. The CMT Crossroads with JB and that performance of "Free/Into The Mystic/Free" just sold it further.
That performance may be one of if not my favorite TV performance of all time. Beautiful vocals.
