Re: New Song: Turn Up The Heat and Chill The Rose
This was so hard to figure out lyrics, but here's a start! After many, many listens I think I'll start drinking more Rosè!
I'm a firm believer in "French..."
And rosè is not just for the South of France or for St.
Barths as some people who live in the Arctic Circle know
you...
Turn Up The Heat and Chill The Rosè
...you have a summer evening any time any day.
So, this is a brand new song, I hope to
God I get it right...if not, it doesn't matter because
you're all drunk anyway
So it's time in Paree to
Turn Up The Heat and Chill The Rosè
(Rather rappish)
Up around the pole,
Where the penquins patrol
And the scientific gang
Needs a cozy place to hang
There's a party in the making
Igloos are a shaking
At the top of the world today.
Six months of dark's a bummer
So they mentally? til summer
It doesn't take much
Just to decorate or stretch
In a tropical state of mind
Then you add some wine
Everybody's ready to play.
Chorus:
Turn up the heat
Chill the rose
Take off your UGGS
And let your metatarsals play
Eventhough the South of France
Is 6000 miles away
We can turn up the heat
And chill the rose.
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
Everybody
yeah yeah yeah
Tout le monde
Yeah yeah
The breaks out on the ocean
Are gonna feel some motion
You don't ...
When ??? start crusin
It's a micro imagination
And temperature fluctuation
And nobody wants to get burned.
I don't wanna be the last
And I'm certainly not the first
But out in the Sahara
A man could die of thirst
So before I went to Africa
And made that big mistaica
I took wine from Porquerolles'
And coffee from Jamaica
Turn up the heat
Chill the rose
Stretch out on the beach
And let those metatarsals play
Eventhough Le Select
Is 6000 miles away
You can turn up the heat
And chill the rose.
Yeah..
No matter if your North
Or South of the Equator
You can overwrite (or overripe)
A ripe plum the vitulator???
A message in a bottle
A tool (tune?) to be cool
Cool oooooh ooooooh.
Cool cool....
Music bridge
Now you know that outerspace
Is a mighty frigid place
There's nothing to sustain us
On the way out past Uranus
And we're gonna ride those rockets
We need protein in our pockets
And a little wine for the ride.
So if you're looking for adventure
And and a kind of thirst quencher
Life can be a banana split
It can also turn to s***
And you're out of tweeter range
And life is looking strange
Here's my advice to you...
Turn up the heat
chill the rose
Stretch out on the beach
And let those metatarsals play
Though the South of France
Is 6000 miles away
you can turn up the heat
and chill the rose
Hey hey hey
yeah yeah yeah
yeah hey hey
whoooa
Short drum bridge
Turn up the heat
Chill the rose
Take off the UGGS
And let your metatarsals play
Eventhough Marseilles????
Is 6000 miles away
You can turn up the heat
And chill the rose
yeah hey hey
Yeah yeah yeah

Now I know this Joe down in Mexico.
He went there to work on his tan.
For years he's been plugged into blenders and songs.
They call him the Twelve Volt Man

Re: New Song: Turn Up The Heat and Chill The Rosè
I used to work on a beach selling cold drinks from a cooler box to the *turkeys covered in oil* not too far away from Hyeres/Porquerolles so i know that area quite well which makes a pleasant change to actually know where jimmy is singing about, i guess he must have been there

I have the perfect dance for that song.
Let's just say it involves Cher's chicken but no curtains.

Re: New Song: Turn Up The Heat and Chill The Rosè
Does he think he is Buffett Doggy Dogg now? Awful song!! Sounds like it was written by a high schooler, not someone with 40 years of music experience.
Thanks for posting the link and the lyrics though. Regardless of whether I like it or not, it is always good to hear a new song.
