You might be surprised who reads this board....Piratefifty wrote:...I, my kids, my wife just happen to pass the hangars on Daniels Hole Road several times each week in our day-to-day travels, so this is just a normal observation about the "Hamptons" airport, like "didja see Morty Zuckerman's new 9000?"...not celebrity stalking...I'll leave that to people who need a life. AM planes are easy to spot because the hangar's next to the road, and the Falcon will not fit in the Sound hangar. So, when I see the 208 there, I figure it's a good possibility that JB is in town (based on what I have been told)...even when the Falcon is elsewhere. But since I've been "set straight" on this now, I will in the future no longer conclude that JB is in town when *I* think he is. However, in the future if I am in doubt of JB's whereabouts, I'll be sure to ask "the people who watch this board" since JB, Ramos, or Kino, or somebody must be have them on their Blackberry speed dial.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:He stayed over last year.....Piratefifty wrote:When it's just a 30 minute flight home, JB is hardly going to stay over and be away from his family.
And while it's interesting to play the "Where in the World is Jimmy Buffett" game, it's pretty much none of our bidness where he is or where he stays....
And the people who watch this board and know where Jimmy are probably laughing their azzes off....
Earlier this year, I'm sure they got a good chuckle when a thread here insisted JB was in Key West. Except he was in Panama at the time, and played an impromptu set in a bar that was related in another, more accurate, thread.
Not everyone on this board agrees with me on this next point, but I feel pretty strongly about it... While you're not a stalker, anyone who posts personal information about Jimmy or any other celebrity on the internet (addresses of houses, locations of planes, etc) just made it infinitely easier for a real stalker to find him.... And I don't think it's cool to post that kind of thing.... But then, one of my jobs is personal security (in a different realm, my job is very much like Charleston's job), so I know how easily a seemingly small piece of information can cause a real problem. It makes me cringe, from a professional standpoint, when I see personal info posted....
