Those who were are some of the tailgates at Pine Knob may be familiar.....
I made almost garden fresh salsa today as well. Had some peppers and tomatoes from the garden but had to supplement from the farmer's market.
Can't grow tomatoes 'cuz the groundhog thinks it's a buffet for him and his family. But i do grow jalapenos. The watermelon salsa is sweet and spicy -- watermelon, peppers, cilantro, lime and red onion.

YUM! I just do a base of tomatoes, onions, green peppers, crushed garlic, and coarse salt. I add in jalapenos for taste and spice. I have added mango, strawberries, and cukes just for fun. I don't have a true recipe other than "to taste." I can eat it until I am sick :)
I can't be bothered with all that nonsense. I open a jar and go to town on it.
but fresh home made is AWESOME
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

We hold GW close to our hearts as it's the place we met a whole bunch of BNers for the first time. And those friendships have grown enormously :)
I haven't been to GW since 2012 and if I were a betting man I would bet I will never be anyplace in New England again.

You never go back for visits???
I've been back to Long Island 5 times since I moved south but not New England.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

We do enjoy our time up north. We have had to cut it back so we go to the northern part of the Lower Peninsula rather than the UP. My BIL has not been well and we are not sure how long we will be able to continue the trips. :(

That definitely is part of it, but Tuesday night's show was only 25 songs.

I am glad you can still go. It is probably beautiful then. I want to do an "up north" trip for colors this year. We went once when the kids were little but I would love to have one of those sunny days when the colors are just brilliant and ride until we tire or the sun goes down.
