I made almost garden fresh salsa today as well. Had some peppers and tomatoes from the garden but had to supplement from the farmer's market.
Must be a Michigan thing today :D

Yep :) Made it for munchies for the Shrine Family Picnic tomorrow. I love it when it is first made so I ate my fill then put the rest in the fridge. It is so good this time of year because the tomatoes are so sweet and the jalepenos are SOOO hot. Perfect!
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Yep. I love how they change it up all the time. I like this version almost much as the acoustic one they did a few years back when they all sat and sang.

Hey everybody.

The patient is slowly fading for the evening but we are enjoying the show even though we are missing it in person for the first time in 5 yrs.

We hold GW close to our hearts as it's the place we met a whole bunch of BNers for the first time. And those friendships have grown enormously :)

Can't grow tomatoes 'cuz the groundhog thinks it's a buffet for him and his family. But i do grow jalapenos. The watermelon salsa is sweet and spicy -- watermelon, peppers, cilantro, lime and red onion.

YUM! I just do a base of tomatoes, onions, green peppers, crushed garlic, and coarse salt. I add in jalapenos for taste and spice. I have added mango, strawberries, and cukes just for fun. I don't have a true recipe other than "to taste." I can eat it until I am sick :)

GW is a bucket list item for me just because I want to meet all the people I have bugged on BN and FB for so long. One of these years I hope to do it......
