24 pack????

Pfffffft. Isn't a 30 can block standard? It is pretty much here.

A quick Aussie language lesson:
Tinnie: 375ml Can of Beer (12.68 US Oz)
Stubbie: 375ml Bottle of Beer
Long Neck: 750ml Bottle of Beer (25.3 US Oz)
Slab = 24 Tinnie/Stubbie pack
Block = 30 Tinnie/Stubbie pack
Box = 12 Long Neck pack (Although this term is archaic and rarely used)

Hmmmm makes me wonder what size beers they have been serving at the Critterville Cove Tiki Bar

OK, Rabbitz, so what do ye be callin' those large cans (25.4 oz/750 ml) of Tooth KB or Foster's Lager?
(not that we drink much Aussie beer around here — we're still p*ssed off over what Alan Bond did to our local brewery)

But when we do, we refer to them as "oil cans".  What do you and Mick, Donk, and Nugget call them?

Gawd, I haven't seen one of those for decades!!!!

I am sure they have a nickname - you might be right about oil can.

Although these days I think they are more likely to be called "for export"

Hehe.

KB is now long gone, and almost no one drinks Fosters here - It is so bad we send it overseas.
