how many shows per year do you attend ?

Usually three.
One in Chicago, one at Alpine, and one "road trip."

I've attended as many as six (in 2001), 35 in all.

depends on schedule and intangibles. Some years, 1. Some years 5.

I voted 2, because that's probably what's averaged out to over the years. This year was four, there were years when I saw 5 or 6, but there were years I saw none.

It used to be 2 or 3 a year but now I am planning for maybe 1 show a year.

90% of the usual stops feature basically the same set list. There's nothing wrong with that except when it costs $150 a ticket to hear the same songs.
I wont do lawn seats anymore as I am too old to put up with people puking nearby and being wedged into a spot for a view from 2 football fields away.

I think about things like "would I get more out of spending $4,000 to see Jimmy in Tahiti or by spending half as much to spend a week fly fishing in the Bahamas or near the Bering Sea. "

It's not a hard choice when I think about it that way.

But when I am searching for those new harbors, Jimmy's music will be playing.

I've been to 13 this year, 14 if you count Jazz At Lincoln Center where JB was one of 5 performers but he only did 2 songs. I have one more this year, I'll be at the Saturday Tampa show next month. For many years I only went to one show per year - 1998 was the first year I went to 2 and 2000 was the first year I traveled out of NY for a Buffett show. This is the 4th year in a row I've made it into double figures, before that I think my high for one year was about 7. If I make it to 100 shows I may stop going after that.

Most years, it's just 1,

this year I've been lucky enough to attend 3

and the Sat. Tampa show will be my fourth.

I don't expect a year like this one to happen often!

Denver's off the "usual" itinerary, so the closest show would be Vegas or Dallas.

If I had the disposable income, I'd do many more....

I answered 3 since I'll have that many each of the past two years. It'd been too long since my last....looking at my calendar, that would be the gap from May '04 to April '06.

Don't ask about the gap from Sept '94 to May '01. My therapist doesn't want me talking about it.

I have been to the 9.8 Foxboro show, the 9.20 MSG show and Saturday I shall be at the Vegas show, I am so happy that I can get to 3 show this year, hopefully more next year.
