I had a good time the last time I was in Nashville 3 years ago, even though it rained most of the weekend, but that show was in the hockey arena so I took a look at the venue's website to see where it was. I found this info: "General parking will not be provided at Ascend Amphitheater. However, there will be many options in and around downtown to park at for events." People who live in the area might have more insight but no parking at the venue would seem to mean no tailgating.

I'm going! The amphitheater is small... 6000 capacity I believe but yes, plenty of parking downtown. And you can easily walk to it as it is downtown. It's a gorgeous amphitheater too with a beautiful view of the skyline behind Jimmy when he performs.
They don't do tailgating BUT they have a fun block party. Even though it rained during the block party downtown, like ten thousand people showed up and had fun anyway!
Margaritaville is also RIGHT there. They are the ones who host the block party on Broadway.
If anyone needs hotel info and anything, let me know. I live in Nashville.

I am surprised there was not a pre sale for this show. I booked hotel rooms but I am a little worried about ticket availability since it is a small venue.
My whole world lies waiting behind DOOR #3! In the meantime, I am just sippin' on a margarita.........

No luck for me. It took 20 minutes for just a single seat to be available. I am out. Have fun everyone who got tickets. May go to the Detroit show.

I got a single ticket in 102.
I am still able to pull up single tickets here and there in section 101,102,103 but absolutely nothing for 2 or more tickets, not even lawn.

I'm heading to Nashville from Pittsburgh and meeting my fellow parrot head bretherin from Chicago.. I'm assuming there won't be much traditional tailgating.. we're thinking a block party around Margaritaville.. but we're down to crash any parrot head party's if you wouldn't mind having a few out of towners.. fins up everyone

I may not be living in nashville anymore when this show rolls around. I'll let you know as I have an extra room but I also have a cat.
But they are allowing traditional tailgating at Nissan stadium starting at 9 am. First time ever.

Would love to know if you are coming in for the Nashville show if you would be interested in a Pre-Party the night before? Location would be Shipwreck Cove (If interested I'll provide directions just trying to get a gage on who would be interested) drink and food specials and of course I will be providing the live music....Jake and The Half Conched Band!
