2010 Tour Date Rumors

I know its too early to be thinking about this, but does anyone know about what time Jimmy usually announces the next tour? I'm thinking about planing a trip to tampa next year if he is doing a show there again. This year he played in tampa in april and i was outside the stadium and couldn't get a ticket to get in , so this year im planing ahead

For the "summer" leg of the tour, the dates are usually out in February/March. The earlier shows (such as Tampa in April), would be announced earlier, but I can't recall how early.

They were all announced in February this year. Then some were canceled. And I don't think I'd count on Tampa being in April again, that isn't the normal schedule.

And Larry would know...of course the only reason that his "number of concerts" reads at zero is that his memory only goes back to Monday....

He announced the spring dates in early February last year. I would bet money that if he plays Tampa this year it will be in the fall (November?). I hope I'm wrong since I'm going down to Tampa in April, but this is what I am expecting.

I heard that 2010 is going to be his farewell tour. I heard this a while ago so its probably not true, at least I really hope its not. How much longer do you think he can keep touring? I hope he does it forever, so lots of people can hear his great music

Also, there will be an announcement of multiple Calif dates, only to be later cancelled. And Vegas will have a big announcement, and then retracted after everyone gets plane tickets and hotel rooms.
