Shel Silverstein & Jimmy

Post by FunkHouse9 »

I was poking around online and came across this page on Shel Silverstein in Key West during the late 70's and mentions Jimmy several times. Includes a bunch of photos including ones of Jimmy, Captain Tony and gives a tiny bit of backstory on a couple of Jimmy's songs. Thought it was certainly worth sharing.

Maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do, it's the child in us we really value.

I just saw Jim Harrison in Livingston last week. He wasn't doing so good, he had just come back from the dentist who pulled two of his teeth. He read from his book using a magnifying glass. Kind of sad.
