Here's hoping we can all get together for a drink in the City of New Orleans one day soon...
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

I had breakfast at Brennan's the same time Al Hirt was there celebrating his birthday. It was a small crowd and he was signing stuff for everyone.

Great memories.

Gosh. Hard to pick just one, but I guess Acme Oyster Bar and Brennan's rank right up there because I've been going to both of them since I was a little girl.

There was also a wonderful, romantic place on the lake...can't for the life of me think of it right now...but had the best French food there. And the atmosphere....

~Sigh~

I KNOW what it means to miss New Orleans. The city has been such a part of my and my family's life for so long.
