Who's going to PARIS - September 2018
Looking forward to the La Cigale shows! Are there any spots for pre-show meet up and drinks?

Looks like we might have a backup on Friday, there may be a 'pressure drop' at La Cigale.

Are you able to clarify what do you mean by this?

Re: Who's going to PARIS - September 2018
So my wife and I have decided to go to Paris to see Jimmy. Ninth concert for us but first in Paris. I posted request for 2 tickets on BN Ticket exchange but assume that chances of success are slim. I have been checking Stub Hub etc for tix and have a few questions so if you have seen Jimmy at la Cigale I hope that you can help us out. Tickets that I see for sale don't provide much info.
Are there seats in the Orchestra level or are they standing only? If there are seats, are they assigned or is it first come first served? What about balconies? Reviews say theatre is small and therefore all seats are good but are there any places to avoid?
Are there tickets available from scalpers before the show or is it too risky to try buying in Paris?
Any advice is much appreciated.

Re: Who's going to PARIS - September 2018
Welcome to Jimmy in Paris. This is always a special concert stop. Seat selection is important at La Cigale. We prefer the balcony row A if possible but you have to get up early to get those. Anything Orchestra A-M in the middle are great as well as balcony middle. There are seats in Orchestra under the balcony on the sides and rear and these are hit and miss. Only real bad ones are the wings in the balcony. People tell me once everyone stands you can't see the stage. IMO stay away from Orchestra on Saturday(they remove the seats), these are standing on the floor. First few years at La Cigale and Olympia the floor was the place to be but in recent years, with sell outs, movement is practically impossible. If you want to arrive at 9:00 in the morning to get a stage position, dont go to the washroom and don't enjoy refreshments this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid at all costs. Returning to your spot last year was difficult and people were getting testy. If want more detail PM me.
