Depending on how early I'm willing to get up in the morning for my return flight, I might have enough miles with Delta to fly free.

That mentions Nissan Stadium, which I think is where the Tennessee Titans play. If I remember correctly, that's across the river from Ascend Amphitheater.TommyBahama wrote:here is a link to tailgating

yes it is according to the map , also I did see a hotel for 125.00 called The Capital Inn , looks to be 1 mile from the venue.LIPH wrote:That mentions Nissan Stadium, which I think is where the Tennessee Titans play. The Hutton and Loews are walking distance. Still a ways but it's doable. Or you could get an Uber for like 3 bucks too.
Not too many hotels super close walking distance but those two are close enough.
Also I noticed it looks like there won't be a block party this year because it appears for the first time in Nashville for Buffett, they're allowing tailgating at the Nissan Stadium... Titans stadium. Which is awesome because it's walking distance to Margaritaville and downtown to bar hop and also walking distance to the venue!

I just got an email from TicketMaster, the subject line was Important Delivery Information About Your Order. The message was "For big events it takes time to ensure all orders are from real fans. We'll email you the minute they're ready to view/print/ship - it'll be in plenty of time for Jimmy Buffett." I don't remember ever getting anything like this for any concert, Buffett or anyone else.

I got the same thing when I ordered a Springsteen ticket about two weeks ago. I wouldn't worry about it. Seems like Ticketmaster is doing a LOT of shipping delays this year. I've seen numerous concerts from numerous artists with Ticketmaster messages stating that there will be delivery delay of tickets but you'll get them with plenty of time ahead of the show. I would guess they are trying to limit secondary market sales by keeping hard tickets (and perhaps some virtual tickets) out of the consumer's hands as long as they can.LIPH wrote:I just got an email from TicketMaster, the subject line was Important Delivery Information About Your Order. I'm going to try and make it home for this one. Hopefully we'll be rain free.

I just listed my ticket in the ticket exchange, the right offer (face value + TM fees = $200.37, what I paid for the ticket) can easily persuade me to stay home.

I'm heading to Nashville from Pittsburgh and meeting my fellow parrot head bretherin from Chicago.. I'm assuming there won't be much traditional tailgating.. we're thinking a block party around Margaritaville.. but we're down to crash any parrot head party's if you wouldn't mind having a few out of towners.. fins up everyone
So bless me father yes I have sinned
Given the chance I’ll prob’ly do it again

They are doing tailgating starting at 9 am at Nissan Stadium and Nashville is very excited!Tidal Pool Explorer wrote:I'm heading to Nashville from Pittsburgh and meeting my fellow parrot head bretherin from Chicago.. They just announced too that they are also doing the Block Party downtown!
So you can walk from the block party to tailgating to the venue. It's going to be awesome!
