Never been to Tinley Park and it looks like this may the show we will be attending. Any suggestions on hotels?

Better book a room quick! We got our reservation in @ Holiday Inn today..... And we'll be staying downtown the night before as well. See ya there, folks!

Which Holiday Inn???

I'm booked at the Holiday Inn in Tinley Park. It's just across the freeway from the venue.
Actually walking distance for anyone young and sober.
Well, maybe not, but the hotel people have always allowed us to tailgate in their parking lot. And it IS really close.

Have some local friends going to this show. Have to check their itinerary as I know they're wanting to spend some time in the BIG CITY. Maybe I'll come just for the tailgate.

Yep, That is the Holiday Inn! Two years ago we stayed at the Comfort Inn and it was too far away. Looking forward to little tailgating in the parking lot, bright and early. Look for the Giant Cheeseburger!!!

Got tons of Priority Club Holiday Inn points, so I have made a reservation there! 2 bed accessible room since that is what they had. Now just need a good seat for the concert!

I have a feeling that the tailgating will be a non-issue. They took care of it two years ago, and we were surprised to find out that the lot opened at 12 instead of 2 like it originally said. Like last time, no info was given before the tickets were sold about allowing tailgating, you were told,"the details are being worked out.....", to me there is no need to be concerned about it, the city has relaxed the ban before, they'll do it again just for Jimmy's show

Looks like the Holiday Inn is already booked for Sat night. And I'm thinking the combination of pretailgating in the hotel parking lot and the hotel pool could make for a pretty decent precursor to when TP opens the gates around lunchtime for the real tailgate. Cannot wait.

I was able to get 5 rooms for that weekend. In Friday and Out Saturday. We usually have a large contingent come with us. If we do not use all 5 rooms, I will put a message on here first.

Cant wait to go back to TP, its been 6 years! Fins Up!!
