Re: Who's going to Paris? September 28th La Cigale
In 09 we tailgated on the steps of sacre du coeur it was a different, but a great tailgate. I didn't plan to go to this concert this year. The date, however, seemed like fate. We are going to see the Steelers play in London on the 29th (Sunday Night). What a weekend Buffett a chunnel ride and a Steeler Game in London.
I would love to meet up with everyone to tailgate again, but would like to get a little closer (our seats are standing). How early did everyone get there, and can you tailgate on the street in front of La Cinagale? We were going to take the train in on Sat. I may need to push to Friday Night.

If by saying 'get a little closer' you mean front row, then you really need to be in the queue in the morning. Its not an exact science as some of the front row regulars will not be there this year (we will miss them) but there may be some new stalwarts to take their place Some of us have decided to move up to the balconycdpitt wrote:In 09 we tailgated on the steps of sacre du coeur it was a different, but a great tailgate. As for tailgating along Boulevard de Rochechouart, you are in Montmartre so pretty much anything goes. There is so much going on around there and lots of places to get food and drink. The down side of this is that you miss the pre show party. Whatever you decide to do, Buffett in Paris is always a great day

Yumm! Haggis![/quote]
I am guessing they take a dim view of you making haggis from scratch right at the tailgate?

Are you sure about that? I know of several transatlantic troubadours who are known to be outside before dawn breaks who are already booked in for this one! They watch the street cleaners go about their work and sing Mac's "It's My Job" to them (in the nicest possible way...) followed closely by The City (also written by Mr Mac)

David we are staying at the Queen Mary near the Opera - we have stayed there the last few years and a good bar across the road. Love you to join us there but remember what happened to you and John in Vegas so do not want you to get John drunk!!!RinglingRingling wrote:they are definitely better than sleeping on the street in a cardboard crate?he came from london wrote:any thoughts on hotels

Re: Who's going to Paris? September 28th La Cigale
Hi,
If anyone has one reserved seat that is not being used I would love to buy it. I am an American Parrothead living in the UK right now and would love to see Buffett in Paris. I plan on taking the Eurostar over for the weekend. Would prefer reserved seating since I am coming by myself.
thanks

Looking for 2 balcony seats, if anyone still has some unused ones.
