Who's Going to Chicago(Toyota Park) 7/23/11?

Welcome to Finland tour will be at Toyota Park on July 23rd(as has been reported all afternoon). Also, it looks like tickets will go on sale next Monday, the 14th.

Spring cleaning has begun on the Parrot Dice Lounge (www.parrotdicelounge.com).

Confirmed appearance of Airbrush Tattooing.

Working on some other additions to the event and will hopefully know something by the weekend.

Also confirmed - 1500 pounds of sand, a new and improved foam pit, Dueling Beer Bongs, a stage featuring live music, The Wheel of Chance, Drink-o, and god knows what else I will conjure up.

we should know ticket prices by Friday when the newspaper ads will be in the papers.

There is a group of hotels on Cicero, just south of Midway airport (about 8 motels, all sharing a common parking area), and lots of parrotheads stay there.

Prices have been between $40 - $140 with all the bs fee's that get added, I would expect similar prices this year.

My family and friends have stayed at a Hampton Inn near Oakbrook. short drive in and out (15 mins) and prices have always been cheaper than midway area hotels.

Just cancelled 2 rooms at the Super8 in Bridgeview for the night of July 23. For those of you who have not been to Toyota Park this is one of the closest hotels to the park. I am not able to make it to Chicago this year.

I remembered buying them with my tickets last year . . . they arrived in the mail REALLY late in comparison to my tickets.
