I haven't watched any football yet this season but I might tune in for tonight's game. It's the Raiders first game in Las Vegas, I want to see what the new stadium looks like.

The default position for the Jests is they're going to s***. Now with Saquan Barkley out for the year, I think the Giants are going to be right there with them.

Said it already, I'm just sad for Saquon being stuck behind that garbage O-line.

And you are right, when people talk about 'the worst NY team' it's no longer clear which one is being discussed. I thought we were in a 3-way for 2nd place in the NFC east but somehow the Falcons blew a 20 point lead and the Cowgirls won. Why does that sound familiar? :-?

I read that 3 NFL coaches were each fined $100,000 for not wearing face masks during Sunday's games. The 3 teams were also fined $250,000. I watched a little of last night's game and they showed both coaches without face masks. Sean Payton, Jon Gruden, the New Orleans Saints and the Las Vegas Raiders probably should get their checkbooks out.

Hall of Fame running back Gale Sayers died. He was 77 and had been suffering from dementia.

Very sad. Too young to have seen him as a player but I still cry over that movie. I read in his obit that he applied for front office jobs with every single team and never got a single interview.

And yet another retired player with dementia. Glad my kid gave it up after high school.

He retired after only 7 years in the NFL because of knee injuries. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame when he was 34, the youngest inductee in the history of the Hall. I didn't see him play very often because his career was before the days of multiple networks broadcasting pretty much every game each week. He was one of the greatest running backs ever. Not as great as Jim Brown, but he was up there.

"That movie"... Brian's Song (1971) - Based on the real-life relationship between teammates Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers and the bond established when Piccolo discovers that he is dying. We all cried...

Maybe not as great as Brown...he definitely had a much different style, but had he'd stayed healthy who's to say. While his career listed at 7 seasons, in reality his career lasted 5 seasons (his final 2 seasons stopped short at 2 games each due to injuries). He also missed 5 games in his 4th season in which he was on pace to have his career year rushing wise.
Despite his electric play, he played for crappy Bears teams. Us Lion fans can relate to superstar running backs playing for crappy teams

I don't know if the Jests and Giants play each other this year but if they don't, they both might go 0-16.

The Tanking for Trevor race is under way! Unfortunately the Lions botched that up in the desert yesterday...

At least the Giants stink. 😎😎
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Are the Browns actually as good as they look today or are the Cowgirls just really bad?
