If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Good morning Nancy and Ravi. Life is good today. It's the anniversary of Custer's last stand and our wedding. Thirty four years and going strong!
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Sunny Sunday @ the MSC
Good morning.
During the rain delay at last night's game I went into the team store because it's air conditioned. I was talking to a group of people while I was there, among them an older couple (older than I am ). The woman asked me what part of NY I was from, I get that a lot down here when people hear me talk. (I don't know why. NYers don't have accents, everyone else talks funny.) I told her I was born in Brooklyn but my family moved to Long Island when I was 9 years old. She asked what part of Brooklyn and I told her Bushwick, then I mentioned the elementary school I went to. She went to the same school. Some other guy came over and said he overheard us talking about Brooklyn and Long Island. He lives in Ohio now but he said he grew up in Lynbrook. I told him I lived in Lynbrook for 5 years before I moved here. When I told him where I lived he said he lived across the street from my apartment building when he was in high school.

Before I forget, Happy Anniversary Bill & Anne!!!
I was supposed to go to the Pelicans game tonight, it was the last game of the Cubs-A-Palooza Weekend. It started raining while I was driving to the ballpark but it was only a shower. I got there, parked my car and went inside and it was still just a shower. About 15 minutes later it wasn't just a shower anymore. The game was rained out. I'm disappointed, the team was supposed to wear "Cubstock" jerseys in the game and I had already bid on one.

Good evening Penny, Larry, Molly and Cuervo. My biggest effort tonight is posting a photo on the Cincy thread.
