Afternoon BNers

It is a toasty 36ยฐ and breezy...less than 20 mph. Yikes!

Still haven't decided if we are going to Jamaica but starting to make a virtual packing list. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Maybe I should get caught up on laundry.

At Dulles airport.

Exciting venture getting here. I dropped my rental car off, and while boarding the shuttle bus to the terminal I was behind this older couple. Both were having difficulty with the step onto the bus. The driver came out and assisted them, and I grabbed their luggage and put it in the rack. While we were going thru this, 3 German guys sort of rudely (image that) pushed past us and got on the bus. They left there luggage outside thinking that either I (right, not happening) or the driver was going to carry on the shuttle for them.

I got on, and was seated, and kept an eye on those 3 pieces of luggage still sitting out side. I kept saying to myself, "shut the door, lets go, and leave the luggage there". Another older couple approached the bus, and the driver again assisted them but left those 3 pieces on the curb. Finally, he shut the door and we left. Made my day.

On the way to the terminal, the 3 of them were just jibbering away in German with each other and never noticed. Unfortunately, I got off at the first stop, and didn't get to see out that all ended. It was almost worth a trip around the airport and back to the rental facility to witness however.

With any luck the luggage won't be there when they get back.

I have had my run in with Germans...ugh. Larry's work company was bought by Germans. Going to dinner with them (when they would talk about us in German) was so much fun...NOT.

Will soon be heading out to do the grocery shopping for next week which will include lots of orange jello for my weekend.
Get a few cans of Compressed Air and blow it all off of everything to the floor, then you just have to vacuum. :D

And good luck with your procedure.. (((Linda)))

I don't know about Buffalo, but there's a lot of talk around here about the Bison winning a(nother) national championship.

It's freezing up here in Fargo.

I went to get my mail a little while ago, it's 32 degrees and the wind chill is 22. Still no freezing rain or ice but it feels like a storm is on the way and the ice storm warning is in effect until noon tomorrow. I think I'll have a beer.

Temps were in the mid 20s this AM but now sunny, dry and mid 40s. Making some stew and looking forward to eating it this weekend while watching football. Just brought in some firewood so all stocked up.

Hope y'all all have a wonderful weekend.
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?

Bobby: No.

The freezing rain has arrived. One of the local TV stations has a reporter outside reporting on road conditions. He's in the parking lot of a strip mall about a mile from where I live and he looks like he'd rather be anywhere else than out there.
