Welcome to WEDNESDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. It will be another beautiful day before the weather turns cool and wet. Time to go play.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning William........BN lurkers!
Yes....the chill is back in the air here in the Michigan Land.
No play today for the good Doctor. Much work to get done by the end of this month. The cool weather should help me stay inside & accomplish those tasks.
Enjoy your day gang!

Good morning Bill, Michi, Deb, and Ken!
Cooler weather here today - chance of the rain/snow mix later tonight and into Thursday and Friday. Good moisture, but I'm tired of the snow. Rain is fine.
Off to that work place!!!

Afternoon BNers
Don't know what was going on yesterday but I feel so much better today.
Suppose to be stormy today. So far, it is just gloomy. We could use some rain.

Re: Welcome to WEDNESDAY@ the MSC
I forgot about a chapter from yesterday....
I didn't sleep at all that night....i tossed, turned and sweated but no sleep.
Not long after sunrise, someone was pounding on our door. Startled
but I didn't go to the door. A few seconds later, the person started ringing the door. Larry opened the door and it was officers!!!! They said that soneone called them. Nope. None of us. We were all in bed.
It was finally figured out that the call came from the house down the street with the same house numbers but in different order. The only oroblem is that house is a HOSPICE house. Sounds like someone died......
What a way to start a day.

5 Astros have covid. Also almost the first 5 batting order. 5 out of 9.

They have been playing bad. Is this the reason???
They pulled 5 players from farm team.

And the 5 have had one shot.

Re: Welcome to WEDNESDAY@ the MSC
Mrs Rabz had a regular GP telehealth appointment about her chronic fatigue yesterday.
Unfortunately, she had a sneeze while talking to the doctor.
The doctor insisted she go and get (another) covid test.
Upshot is we are back in quarantine until she gets the results. I am sooooooooooooooooo over this. Every time she speaks to a doctor she gets referred to get a covid test and we get locked in the house. Chronic fatigue shares a couple of symptoms with covid but GP's have this world view that every single symptom, of any type, must be covid.
My Dad is coming down from the country to visit - he is 80, so he shouldn't come here until we get the all clear. He is already on his way...
Stupid paranoid doctors.

Yikes! Sorry about the quarantine, Rabz. We never had testing available here and now any adult can get vaccinated.
On a happy note. I boated up to a friend's newly purchased river home. He and his wife were kayaking past the place 5 years ago and saw the for sale sign. After a lot of renovation, they have a great retirement home.

Any adult can get vaccinated, but many "adults" are choosing not to. As long as only they catch COVID and don't give it to anyone else, I guess I'm OK with that.
In 3 counties here in Washington they are closing things down again due to an increase in infection rates; the folks in those counties are saying it's their God-given right to go to bars and it ain't right for the gummint to not let them. (As an interesting side note, they aren't at all concerned about voter suppression, just drinker suppression.)

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

I'm alarmed at the many people I know passing on the shots. Some are too young to remember polio or small pox, both eliminated by vaccines.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑April 14, 2021 9:29 pm Any adult can get vaccinated, but many "adults" are choosing not to. One even said,"I have never even had the flu shot. I never get sick."
Afterwards, I thought of the perfect retort.
"With that logic, you don't need to wear a seat belt, because you've never been killed in a car accident."
