Good Morning Bill -- a little dreary here at this side of Pennsylvania. But we're hearing it will be warm so we'll take it.

Hey Everybody! We've got nothing on our schedule except Kevin's 1st vaccine at 8 am and then having a couple from our church Community Group over for a few rounds of Uno and some beverages.

Good morning. We had a stretch of great weather - 75-85 degrees, no rain, not too humid. I didn't wear pants for 3 days. :o Today it's overcast and there's rain in the forecast. I could probably wait until tomorrow to do laundry but since it's a lousy day, I'll do it today instead.

Good morning/afternoon!

We slept in a bit, started some laundry, had some coffee - and we're off to visit Mom indoors again. :D My sister and BIL are also going, and we're told all four of us can be inside with her!!!!! :D First time in about two years.

Then lunch, watch repair, brewery stop, then grocery shopping. Out to dinner tonight.

Have a wonderful Saturday! :D

Morning, BN. We had a few days of warm weather. It's a bit cooler but no rain so far. Need to get my lazy butt off the sofa and get some errands done.

Have a good one.

I was sitting at the computer scheduling some bill payments and like I always do, I opened my iTunes library so I could listen to some music while I was doing my banking. A live album came up, a band called Thrills at My Father's Place (not my father's place) in Roslyn on Long Island. The date of the show was March 17, 1981. I was comped at the show. One of my cousins used to work in the music business and Thrills recorded on his label.

Afternoon BNers

Blue skies and breezy. Someone is mowing. At least they waited until noon. 🤨

Hi there!
I ran my aground and sucked rocks into my frill. (( I realize that could make for all types of innuendos)

My boat's jet motor has a grill over the impeller to protect it. I had to wade in 55 degree water to get the rocks out. Glad I wore shortys.

The laundry is done and it never did rain so I went to the park for a walk. We have a lot of big old pine trees in South Carolina, which means we have a lot of pine cones on the ground. I've seen pine cones before but some of these things are almost as big as footballs.

That reminds me of a day, way back in the mid-eighties, back when I was crew on the Surf Rescue Jet Boats. (I may have shared this before).

One of our jobs was that when there was a confirmed shark sighting we'd be deployed to locate the animal and using the boat herd it away from the swimming areas.

One day we were doing this just outside the break at Queenscliff Beach. Now one of the enemies of a Jet Unit are plastic bags. The solution is to dive overboard, swim under the boat and pull the bag/s out of the intake grille.

Needless to say, while herding this shark away from the beach we picked up a plastic bag and the boat stopped. There was a bit of a discussion and as I was the designated swimmer that day it fell to me to clear the intake. The shark was still visible but we had to act as we were drifting into the surf break.

I donned my fins and leapt off the port side, swam under the boat, cleared the intake, surfaced on the starboard side and launched myself back into the boat.

I swear I did it so fast that my hair didn't even get wet :) :D :D

You know what else you have in SC? Big, old, canine serial killer alligators. This guy had a dog license in his belly and the owner confirmed the dog went missing during a hunting trip 24 years ago. :o
